Healthy Halloween Treats: Pumpkin Bread, Raw Coconut Macaroons, Carob Balls, & More

Date/Almond Carob Balls


Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla (or orange) flavoring
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Frontier herbs
  • 1 Cup of mashed Medjool dates or date paste
  • 1 Cup of carob powder or cacao powder
  • 1 Cup of almond butter (or cashew butter)
  • Pinch of lecithin

Directions:

Mix in food processor or blender or mashed by hand and form into balls or rolls.

Variation: roll the balls in shredded coconut (my preference).

    Wow this recipe not only sounds amazing but looks fantastic also. The 2 1/2 cups of brown sugar sounds like a zillion calories so I wonder what I could replace it with?
